Social Growth Consult, a leading digital growth firm, in collaboration with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, is excited to announce the inaugural Global Real Estate Innovation Summit (GREIS).
This significant event, themed “Unlocking Housing Finance: Pathways to Home Ownership for All,” will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the BMO Events Arena, River Plate Park, Abuja, Nigeria, beginning at 9:00 AM.
The summit aims to gather key players from Nigeria’s housing ecosystem, including CEOs, policymakers, and top decision-makers from the real estate sector, mortgage banks, fintech companies, pension funds, insurance firms, microfinance banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and regulatory bodies.
The primary objective is to establish a new direction for mobilizing housing capital and expanding home ownership opportunities throughout the nation.
Additionally, the summit seeks to enrich the national dialogue and advance GREIS’s mission of creating a sustainable roadmap to home ownership for all Nigerians by 2035.
“The GREIS summit is a crucial step toward addressing the long-standing challenge of housing finance in Nigeria,” said David Dolapo, Managing Director of the Global Real Estate Innovation Summit.
“By bringing together leaders from both the public and private sectors, we aim to create actionable solutions that will not only unlock capital but also reduce the barriers that prevent millions of Nigerians from owning a home.”
According to Dolapo, the summit’s objectives include: Mobilizing capital for housing through policy, innovation, and institutional collaboration, strengthening partnerships across housing corporations, mortgage banks, and private developers, and developing actionable frameworks for unlocking affordable housing finance in Nigeria.
Additionally, the summit aims to shape housing finance policies that align with Nigeria’s national development agenda, showcase solutions that leverage capital markets, fintech, and development finance, and drive commitments that reduce barriers to accessing long-term housing finance.
‘’GREIS will serve as a platform for dialogue, innovation, and strategic partnerships, laying the groundwork for a more robust and inclusive housing finance system,’’ Dolapo added.
